Registrar
DESCRIPTION:
Thomas University, an independent, not-for-profit, institution of higher education in Thomasville, Georgia with undergraduate and graduate programs invites applicants for the position of Registrar. Reporting to the Academic Dean and Provost, the Registrar oversees all administrative and operational functions of the Office of the Registrar and ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of all academic records.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Developing policies and procedures ensuring the accuracy and security of student data
- Facilitating enrollment, registration, graduation, and degree conferral
- Management of office staff, processes, and workflows
- Maintaining accurate course and exam schedules, catalogs, and academic calendars
- Chairing the Commencement Committee and serving on other academic committees
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
The Registrar should hold a master’s degree and have five years of progressive experience in a registrar’s office, with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. The successful candidate will have experience with the Jenzabar SIS, proven ability to consult and collaborate with administrators and faculty to develop policies and procedures, and a documented background of providing outstanding customer service.
